Pavilion, in collaboration with Pål Rodenius, was once installed for the Apartamento show in November 2014 inside an 18th century apartment in central Stockholm. The Apartamento show was put up by the curator Nilz Källgren.
From the press release:
“We started from the room’s existing condition and played with the idea of improving its condition of decay. In our installation we wanted to refer to a ruin landscape or a Venetian palazzo that keeps decaying, but is constantly refined to achieve the luster it once had.
For us there is something poetic and destructive about these cosmetic procedures in the architecture despite the fact that Venice is sinking down to its downfall”
